Junior System Engineer @ Lamprecht Transport AG
Hello, my name is Valentin. In 2025 I completed my apprenticeship as a computer scientist, specialising in platform development, at iart ag in Basel. iart is a media architecture studio that creates spaces for astonishing encounters between people and technology.
During my apprenticeship I built up solid hands-on experience across IT infrastructure, system administration, and network management. Working in the service team also sharpened my customer-facing skills, and I got to show what I'm made of when it comes to teamwork, reliability, and seeing problems through to the end.
Outside of work, I develop my own tools and projects in my spare time, some of which I make freely available through my personal 4U project. I also volunteer at anrufkultur, where I built their website and continue to look after the technical side of things.
Projects - 2024
anrufkultur
As a member of Association anrufkultur, I help with their mission to make culture accessible to everyone. I started out as a cameraman for guided museum tours aimed at visually impaired audiences a really meaningful way to connect people with cultural experiences. After a year I passed that role on, and now I focus on keeping their website updated and running. I built the site in Webflow, working from the layout and design provided by the association, and turning their vision into a fully working, responsive site.
4U
I founded the fake startup 4U and built a clean, modern one-page website with Vue.js. It's the central place to discover our projects and find out what 4U is about.

My first website
This was the first time I came into contact with code, building a website during a taster week.
